I have inherited a Cisco PIX 515 firewall that is currently configured for IPSec VPN with split-tunnel. Owner of the company wants to be able to log into the VPN from home from 2 separate computers. Well, either his router or the PIX is not allowing the appropriate VPN passthrough and is kicking the first connection off as soon as the second connection is established. I have replaced the home router with the NetGear FWG114P because it is supposed to allow for 2 simultaneous connections but is not. Is there something I can put in the PIX that will help this situation or is it still a problem with the home router/ISP?

Thanks in advance for you time and assistance.

Get an extra public ip address for the second host.

Or make PIX the VPN client
