I am a long time lurker, and I think its time to post my first "real" post.

I passed my CCIE R&S Written yesterday and it is a surreal feeling knowing that I am going to be taking the lab sometime in the near future, I know I should be going crazy but it is a pretty cool feeling being 1/2 way there.

Hopefully I can find someone who is in Northern NJ or somewhere near by who is in the same boat I am in and we can form a lab study group. Please if you are interested, I am looking for serious inquiries, you can send me a PM here and I will get back to you.

I'm almost in the same boat as you, but I'm attempting my written exam next week.

By the way, you have some of the cleanest notes I've ever read. GJ

Thanks stevester1. I am taking a week off to collect myself before departing on never seeing the light of day again, and I am also waiting for a few new additions to my CCIE lab to arrive, so it kinda works out

I am really anal when it comes to my notes. My wife looks at me when I am studying and taking notes and she looks at me like I should be commited to a nut house. If only I put as much effort into notes when I was in school to what I do now....... one can always day dream.

I'd be up for it, but I'm not in NJ. If you still want to chat online or something about CCIE and find some way to study that way, we can. :)

I guess this is what happens when I don't subscribe to my own posts lol...

Thanks for the compliments on the notes, everyone who sees them says the same, and I turn and say, there nothing special, just my notes. It is good to see people enjoy them and more is coming to the site, I have been busy with being a new dad (well not that new he is 6 months old) and of course the job

I was thinking local, just because of the ease to meeup, but I am open to web based meetups also. I am looking at a few things to see how we can get like a classroom setting, I have been playing with Teamviewer's meeting features, and it is good, but I know there is better. I am open to any suggestions preferably free, but if cost is minimal, then it should be OK as well.

I really like the idea of people blogging about their Cisco learning experience on the internet as Steve and now I see Mike have done. It seems like it is a good way to re-enforce what you have learned and also a nice way to access your notes if you are even need access to them.

Does anyone know how or where I can do something like that as well? I am not a blogger nor have I ever tried to be but seeing others do this encourages me to maybe think about doing this.

Note: Sorry Mike, I'm not trying to hijack your post. I just looked at your site and it just sparked my interest. Good luck with the other half of your CCIE studies. I hope to be there someday.

What about a webex meeting? They have free trials, not sure about the audio though. I think that would have to be paid or you have to call into a non 800#.

Did start to use Evernote for stuff like this. Just copy the whole article and put it into evernote, add tags and sync it
