That is probably more of a "feature" than a disorder.

:D

I'm taking the ICND2 next week during the girls spring break, hopefully Monday or Tuesday. The testing facility I like dosen't test on weekends. I'll be scheduling it in the next day or two..

Mine is scheduled for next week, Thursday morning, March 17. After the test ends, I have to rush off for a College Algebra exam :P .

I'm excited!

Sure is..

I finished the 31 days before your CCNA book this afternoon. It's pretty good! I'm all set. I just need to sit my ass down with my wife and make plans for next week and which day will work best. I know we have an OBGYN apt for the baby on Tuesday at 9:30am, but the testing times for that day are all 9:00am - 11:30am. I'm going to try and have the Baby apt pushed up a couple hours and take it early Tuesday... If we can..

i was thinking of getting this but still undecided. as a tool for structured exam prep how does it do? my prep for icnd1 was a bit unstructured and i think i would benefit from a "plan" .

It's purely a review book. It's not intended as a exam cram, just all icing. If you have the time go for it, it will only take you a couple sittings to read though the 400 pages.. Its greatest quality is allowing you to quickly pick up on the areas you need to go back to and restudy.

sounds perfect. timing isnt really an issue. i havent booked icnd2 yet, im still working my way through exploration4. im making sure it all sinks in 1st time. my procedure is topic nuggets -> exploration chapter -> flash card book summary on chapter -> nugget again -> PT & practical lab -> end of chapter test.
this takes alot longer than what i did for the first 3 exploration sections but i find it works better.

im gonna get the book, i will have finnished chapter 4 today so hope to finnish all the explo by end of this month. i may book the test for 6 weeks after that.

All the best Scott, with all the work that you've done you have this one well and truly covered.

Thanks Aubrey..

Tomorrow's the Exam.. I'm spending today getting things strait in my head. Terminology, definitions, the refresher stuff. I've been jumping around so much not following a real study plan that I think it's been messing with my head. The first Exam I followed the Book, but with the ICND2 I've been jumping around topic to topic. Horrible, I won't do that again. There really is no substitute for a good study plan.

So for the rest of the day I'm going to be chillin' with a book watching the wife and kids clean the house.. ;)
