I'm starting to see a really big light at the ends of this CCNA tunnel. I'm 1/3 of the way done on my second read though of the CiscoPress ICND2. 99% finished with Aubreys' CCNA Exploration course, all that's left to do is the final and the hands on labs skill test and a practice test. Without studying I decided to take one of the two CCNA practice tests available to Cisco Academy students and didn't do so great (75%). Now I know what I need to re-learn and where I can skim..

I haven't scheduled a date to sit the ICND2, but if I can get the study time I'm hoping for this week I'll try and test this next Saturday..

I had the time last night to do a 5 hour switching lab which was great. Only 3 1/2 hours were spend labing, the other hour and a half was spent chasing my tail around trying to figure out why after setting up the lab I couldn't connect to the Vlan 99 management address of my switches. Once I figured out that I still had my wifi adapter connected which have lower metrics things went a little smoother. I've done that twice now.. dang.. I've been on a roll this week..

I just finished the Cisco Networking Academy CCNA Exploration. It took me 4 months and 5 day with a few breaks here and there. It doesn't seem like it's been that long.. To say that the Exploration course was rigorous would be an understatement!

A couple more days of reading and I'll be done with Odom's ICND2 for the second time. After that I'm going to do a week of labing to keep things strait and then schedule the ICND2 for the closest weekend.

I'm excited!

good luck! ive just finnished with ppp and half way through frame relay on the exploration. ive found that watching the nuggets before reading through the exploration data helps alot. the in depth stuff seems a little less daunting after jeremy has ripped through it.

its good your excited to be taking the test i think. means your happy with the test subjects i guess. again good luck!!!!!!!!!!

good luck!

I just finished Odom's ICND2 guide. I am planning on taking the next week to do labs, and then taking the test, which is already scheduled. We should have an online celebration when all three of us pass! :D

That is probably more of a "feature" than a disorder.
