I was thinking about buying a APC Masterswitch for the home lab. It seems like the going rate for a AP9211 is $100, while the AP9225 is about $50. I've even noticed a few AP9210's for as little as $30 with the network managment cards.

Does it really matter which one I get? They all seem to do remote power, and I don't think the graceful shutdown ports on the AP9225's are going to do me any good. Does anyone have any experience with these? Any suggestions?

I know, I know. I like toys, and dammit that's a cool toy. I want a 2511 too.. Beside's it's going to be a CCNP lab here pretty soon..

I was talking to the guys at work about wanting some power management for the lab. Except I have no 15A sockets :?

You can't blame him for wanting to add to the lab take inzeos for example.

I'm looking for something like that to manage power. Lots of cables in my rack is getting me nervous. Also I will get a table to put stuff and my PC/Laptop there.
