New Technology sections?

Thu Sep 18, 2014 10:31 pm

As muck as i have worked with Cisco. this forum seems to be concentrated to Cisco. can we create secions for Palo Alto, F5 Networks, Bluecoat Proxys and maybe general switches, not only Cisco? maybe also for Riverbed, Dell XML switches(Built in blade switches). maybe users dont want to post in this forum.

General tech?
Take a baseball bat and trash all the routers, shout out "IT'S A NETWORK PROBLEM NOW, SUCKERS!" and then peel out of the parking lot in your Ferrari.

Well, yes and no. I would think the forum would expand beyond current level if sections are extended not only to Cisco.

One must always stand watch against forum scope creep, though... we had a discussion not too long ago about adding forum areas for other vendors and kinda collectively decided that wasn't the right way to go to address that need.

I agree that this section should discuss more than one field so it would be more knowledgeable in many people who were visiting this site.
