POST AUTHOR CHANGED TO STEVE

A case of Pluto brand switches were delivered to one of our distribution centers a while back. I can't find any information on them other than the MAC address vendor code is owned by Google. We tried calling one of their regional offices but they didn't want anything to do with us unless we delivered the switches to them. We couldn't even talk to someone that might know about them. I've never seen the connector type in the front of the switch. Its similar to SFP but only about 1/2" deep. Any ideas? The writing on the back is Finnish.

Here are some wireshark snap shots of me looking into the switch. I cannot get the console port functioning properly and the management port does not come configured.

I think user [scrubbed] was able to get some random characters but was not able to find the right combination of settings to get a real output. I'm sure he'll keep playing with it.

Only random characters, about one a second. I'll post a screenshot later today. Does anybody have an idea on how to troubleshoot the correct settings for an unknown device? So far I've only tried some standard settings.

Also try different data bits, stop bits, parity, and flow conrol settings as well.

That's what I want to know. I'm interested in returning them to their owner but there is no original shipping label.

I'm trying different console setting but nothing yet.

Here is an example of the console output:

Someone I asked about this suggested taking that flashcard and dd'ing an image off it and start poking around looking for strings in it. Could yield something useful.

Any chance of getting some clear pictures of the labels on the mainboard and anywhere else on the inside?
