I was going to buy one for my kindle yesterday but then found out they are just PDF's - No good on my Kindle 3 :(

I've bought two of the Ciscopress ones now (in PDF) for my Kobo. It's not perfect, but it does work and I can read them. The Kobo will display PDFs in landscape so that helps a bit.

There's rumours that the next Kobo firmware will have PDF reflow... That should help a lot.

If only Ciscopress would offer in multiple, DRM free formats like O'Reilly...

I wish they did. Yesterday they had CCIE routing and Switching 4.0 in pdf format for $9.99 (I got the hard copy) I would've got it in a heartbeat if they had proper formats

I was to trigger happy to notice.. Oh well, I'll stick it on my external hard drive for down the road. I'm mad at myself for not reviewing my order and spotting that it was a PDF.. Grrrr :?

It's a DRM'd PDF, so you can't sell/trade/give it to anyone.... It uses Adobe's Adept DRM which has been proven inept already...

I buy these since my Kobo eReader supports this and it's a lot easier to carry one ereader than a mountain of books on the bus.
