Router - 3g plus 5Ghz Wifi

Wed Apr 18, 2012 5:50 am

I am trying to find a router with the following features:

1. Compatibility with USB 3G modems, or built-in 3G modem. I am indending to use the "Three" network in the UK, who supply Huawei E353 USB modems
2. Wifi wireless access point which supports both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz (preferably at the same time)
3. At least one ethernet LAN port for connecting non-wifi devices

Does anyone know if such a device exists, preferably not costing hundreds of pounds.

Many thanks for your help,

never heard of such device, especially since you want it over USB.
I believe that with USB modems you'd need to connect them to a PC. You'd probably want to connect the WiFi router to computer (WAN port of router to computer's Ethernet), and set up the computer to share the internet connection between Ethernet and USB router.
Your Internet access would be pretty slow though, because those 3G modems are not that fast anyways.
