Hello all,

I have three separate VLANS made up of ports from this device and that device. I'm trying to find some way of monitoring them (They're our Cluster VLAN, SAN VLAN and VPN Devices VLAN, if you're wondering why I'd need to do this.) We'd like to be able to express the utilization on these vlans using graphs or charts as you often see featured on the Default LMS page.

I decided to try and accomplish this through Group Management, but this area seems more geared towards managing many devices at once.

For the record, these VLAN's already exist, I just want to find a way to monitor them. Our LMS was setup by the senior administrator, who handed it off to me with these instructions. Everything seems to work, I'm probably just doing this wrong.

Thanks,

VLAN usage would probably be quire low, It may be better to monitor the individual interfaces with MRTG for example.

Well then, what is the easiest/best-way to make a collection of ports and put them in some sort of group for later monitoring? I noticed when looking through reports that Cisco Prime LMS seems to have found some of my VLANS and made collections for them, but I'm not seeing where I can specify certain interfaces to be added to a collection.
