Hi,

I am connecting a cisco device with huawei device.
The issue is when i ping with normal size packets (56 bytes) its ok.
But when i increase the packet size above 1500 it doesnot works.
MTU on both size is configured as 4096. I have also checked by varying MTU size, but still the same.
Please help out.

Thanking in Advance

This doesn't belong in IP Communications as it's not voice/video related. Moving to Cisco General.

Both are routers...One End Cisco other end Huawei. The link is point2point link using dark fiber.
Both are configured with MTU of 4096 and ip's, nothing else...

dont know what ME 460 is. and again, do show interface identify mtu 4096? we need to know more of your setup and config to help you.

Me460 is used as UPE and NE 40 is used as aggregator.
Customer Circuits are attached to UPE and then end up in L3VPN on Aggregator.

Still waiting for you to show output of interface mtu. It's been asked numerous times already

Issue Solved, Cisco guy was changing MTU on physical interface instead of interface Vlan , as he has configured his interface as switchport trunk and passing Vlans.

Thanks all for your interest. :)

Problem would've been resolved quickly if you had just given us the MTU like was asked so many times

Pings are often not fragmented I believe. That would be quite useless in most situations.
