Or is that suicide? I need my ARCH for work but I would like to get my TSHOOT done for CCNP first personally. The thing is I have gotten deep into the ARCH literature and was wondering if mixing the two would be beneficial or disastrous.

I guess that makes sense. Being out of school for so long I forget that you have to juggle everything that way. Guess it cant hurt to digest both.

everyone says TSHOOT isn't bad at all, you should be able to bang that one out real quick, then move on.
once you build the topology in your lab, should be a no brainer.

In school you have to do that. At work, unless work demands it, you won't flunk out if you don't. In the long term, most people probably get their certifications faster if they concentrate on only one at a time as opposed to studying for two at once. But everyone is different.

if you have taken route/switch bone up on the Tshoot topology and run though some sample questions, don't put it off to long.

As always I am gonna say there is a tshoot topology and some sample questions over at dhimes.com (GNS3 config files)

TSHOOT is easy, search for Kevin Wallace on YouTube, he does some really good strategy guides...

Just take TSHOOT. after passing SWITCH, and ROUTE it is easy. As others have said, look at the topology. Also read the description of the test on Cisco's website. It has a different format from all the other test, and it can be confusing at first.

Might just schedule it for a week or two out and mess around with Topology with GNS3 and get the CCNP done already.
