Please give feedback if you buy. I'm especially interested if it's got good labs.

hmmmm well thats disappointing but OK, at least config scenarios/examples would be enough to tempt me. I like to learn from config/example heavy style much more than cisco press wall of theory text

Did you do the ASR9K Essentials? Im leaning towards it, or just to skip it and do a INE Bootcamp.

Which brings me to; anyone going to the UK INE SP bootcamp? mellowd?

I believe that was what the class was called. It was more or less platform specific not really geared towards XR. The first day you learned simple XR context then everything is about the platform for the most part. I learned a ton of things that were possible with the platform itself.. ie NV,1000v all the L2 capabilities I had no idea were possible. It was a really good class.

btw, I scheduled the CCNP Edge to take at cisco live this year its been fun studying off and on for that I work with the majority of the topics day in day out so it should be easy the core looks difficult. I might be motivated to go the SP route.

Ah right. I have the course material at work since some co-workers attended it a few weeks ago, maybe it'll suffice to just go through that material.

GL at SPEDGE, I loved that exam and the techniques it involves.

I passed the SPEDGE exam this morning. I still dont know VPLS... but I knew everything else on the exam since my DCI is comprised of MPLS and lots of PS/L2VPN and XR devices.

I've put plans for the CCIE SP on the backburner for now. I want to complete my JNCIE-SP by the end of this year and then I might do CCDE. After that who knows.

Glad I did the written though, its extended my number for another two years at least
