The MX series are pretty flexible. I'd say the MX series are a closer replacement to the 3750s than a nexus.

But yeah, a bit tongue in cheek because we're Cisco orientated around here but it wasn't a throwaway comment.

I'll do some research, but I'm pretty sure that the MX is a direct competitor to the ASR. The EX is more comparable to the 3750, AFAIK.

We've got some of the smaller EXs but they're just used as edge devices. Nothing special.
