It's grindy as fck. I've got a Monk up to about l48 towards the end of Act 3 Nightmare Mode. I don't regret buying it, but I don't like it enough to recommend it.

I didn't buy it after playing the beta, from the sounds of it I'm not missing much.
I'm expecting the real money ah to basically make the game suck.

I'm going to get it when it goes budget maybe. Torchlight 2 I have heard called more diablo than diablo 3 and I like the first so my money is going that way I think

I'm seeing a pattern.

I liked Torchlight too. Maybe I'll just hang on until T2 comes out.

Thanks guys.

playing around on it, very grindy but also challenging with alot of people playing once you get into the higher difficulties, good if you want to play with friends or want to kill time... but not super awesome. I just hit 60 and finished hell act 3, working on getting access to the pony level

How do you guys find the time to sit down and play games? I know some of you have kids too.
Whats your secrets?

Kids eventually sleep. Then you have to negotiate/barter the time with your SO.

D3 is pretty good. I really like how easy it is to join up with friends on that game.

But overall, I find myself playing Skyrim more often. Especially with the endless amount of downloadable content and user based mods.

Level 52 Wizard..

Played it for the first week - got hacked - added an authenticator on my phone, had Blizzard restore my account. Stopped playing.

I'm mostly disappointed in the loot drops.. That and the game gets boring after 20 hours of play..

Yea, I guess if they're doing a loot for real cash market, the loot drops would generally produce lower end stuff.

Loled because that's exactly how I go about it. It's usually not too hard because a few times a week something like "The really vapid housewives of whogivesadamn" will come on, and I'll jump on the computer for an hour or two.

immensely, but you have to have decent hardware to run it if you don't have a console.

diablo 3 is perfect for those like me who have kids. You don't have to worry about A) getting too wrapped up in something, and B) letting other people in your group down. You can literally hop on the game, and hop right back off if the kids act up, need changing, etc. Kids are why I had to stop playing World of Warcraft. Eventually, my raid group found a replacement healer after I dropped out of a raid mid-way for the 10th time...
