1st Semi-final about to start.

I want Sri Lanka to win the tournament. Let's see if New Zealand have anything left up their sleaves.

NZ to bat first

sl were a world apart from eng. eng need how to learn to bat aggressively and not stupidly. they seem to be good at test and 20/20 but dont seem to manage to get a happy medium for 50 over games.

SL def to win it. hopefully their openers can go the rest of the tourney without being toppled!

Watched the final on Saturday of course.

What a shame. Really wanted Sri Lanka to win but Well Done India.

I remind you that a lot of the Indian coaching team is South African ;)

Ah ya just had to get SA in there some where

Although for me sl played well below par.
They just seemed to play too cautiously for my liking but, hats off to India they played a blinder of a chase, (with SA coaches backing them how could they fail  ).

Yeah I see that, although I seen some of the bowling and it was pretty poor.
But that doesn't take it away from SA they got a chance and they took it.
We'll hear all the usual excuses after the match, plain and simple they were poor.

Well played SA :woohoo:

Yup not even closely related. In other news tho the west indies are hurting this NZ team. It looks as if NZ are playing better by the match so cant count them out yet for the test series. They got raped in the 20-20s :?

Looks like SA are settling in for the long haul, good tactics, but they need to stay there.
