The first week of the new year and we almost dropped the weekend thread!!

Not much going on around here besides football. The Texans and Greenbay both play Saturday so we will be parked on the couch for those games!! Would be awesome if both teams made it to the Superbowl!! Houston finished the season looking like crap so Im not holding my breath.

Hopefully I will get a little QoS study in. I cant get this crap to sink in and stay for longer than a week or two. I already know QoS will be my worst area for the lab.

Hah! yeh I noticed that, but then got pulled away with work... Just like every other time I've had a free second this week...

For me it's a labbing weekend. And walking the dogs.

My last free weekend. Start school again on Monday. One of my classes for this term is on Saturday morning so weekends are going to suck for awhile after this one. At least it is an intro to database and scripting class so I won't have to be fully awake to pass. Might go see a movie this weekend. Basically relax, and do nothing if I can.

I'll be impressed if Houston wins tomorrow. They have not played well the last month. They also put one of their LBs on IR today and signed a rookie as his replacement. That doesn't give me a good feeling.

On-call for the next week starting at midnight tonight. Upgrading some of our core 6500s early tomorrow morning. Rest of the weekend will be spent getting blown up in the Badass Crater of Badassitude.

Yeah Dobbins is done for the year. They have all the talent they need but just haven't been putting it all together lately.

Had some friends over last night to watch the Aggies, eat, and play dominoes. Hopefully a bike ride and football watching today. Off season softball practice and more football watching tomorrow.

I am spending the next hour or so working on the site too. :)

I'll be rooting for Indy just because it would be cool to see a rookie go past the first round. Ravens will kill them though. I wouldn't be surprised if they beat them by 14-20 points. Indy just really isn't that good.

Now that was the Texans from the first 11 games!! Its gonna be hell against New England next week. Lets hope they can pull it off.

Packers made it too!! But you kinda saw that coming after the QB swap.

Rooting for Colts and Washington today. I always want to see a rookie QB have success in the playoffs.

They definitely looked better but I wouldn't say it was the team from the first 11 games. They settled for too many field goals and only won by 6 points. If Dalton didn't over throw Green in the endzone at the end of the game they could have been down by 1 with 3ish minutes left. They won't be able to kick FGs next week and will really need to get their offense going.

Definitely rooting for the rookie QBs today but I don't expect either team to win. Seahawks have a stout defense and Indy really isn't as good as their record.
