I am interested in learning about A-Z of icmp protocol,
but when i searched for materials on internet,i didn't get all the information about icmp in a ordered form,so can any 1 recommend me or link me to a good e-book for mastering ICMP?

Probably the most important thing about ICMP is the different codes: http://www.iana.org/assignments/icmp-parameters

Memorize those and learn what causes them. After that, I can't say you need to master anything else about it.
